Three teens admitted their part following the stabbing of a boy, 15, last November

Three teenagers have admitted their role in serious violence after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed near a Birmingham Sainsbury’s store.
The victim was knifed in the stomach near the junction of Frankley Beeches Road and A38 Bristol Road in Northfield.
He was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries following the attack at 1am on November 18 last year.

He survived and continued to recover from his injuries, West Midlands Police said.
A investigation was launched by the force’s Major Crime Unit, and three teenagers were arrested.
Three boys – two 16-year-olds, and a 17-year-old – pleaded guilty to offences at Birmingham Crown Court on Tuesday, May 20.
One 16-year-old boy admitted wounding with intent and possession of a bladed article.
The other 16-year-old, and the 17-year-old, both pleaded guilty to violent disorder and possession of a bladed article, police added.

They will all be sentenced at a later date.
Speaking after the case, Det Insp Ade George, from the Major Crime Team, said: “This is another example of the dangers of carrying a knife.
“This was a very serious attack, and the boy suffered serious injuries but thankfully survived.
“I hope this will make people aware of the serious consequences of carrying knives.”
This week police are running Operation Sceptre, known as Sceptre, where all 43 forces across England and Wales target knife crime in a week of intensified action.
