Cameron Young has confirmed his participation in the 2026 PNC Championship.
The world No. 4 is set to make his tournament debut after becoming eligible following his Players Championship in March, before tacking on another victory at the Cadillac Championship in May.

In doing so, the 29-year-old will partner his father David Young, a longtime PGA professional who once worked at Sleepy Hollow Country Club in New York.
“Being invited to the PNC Championship for the first time is an honor, and something I’m looking forward to,” Young said.
“It’s a unique event where I have the opportunity to compete alongside my father against an incredible field.
“It will be a really cool dynamic, and having the family around makes for a great way to end the year.”
But Young isn’t the only one making his tournament debut at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club in Orlando, Grande Lakes, Florida on December 19, with Brooks Koepka also named in the competing field.
Furthermore, the 2026 PNC Championship will also represent the largest female presence in the tournament’s history.
This comes as women’s world No. 1 Nelly Korda will also be competing in the season-ending two-person, 36-hole scramble event, alongside her father Petr Korda for the sixth time.
Furthermore, 10-time major champion Annika Sorenstam will be out on the course with her son Will McGee for the fourth successive year.
Alongside Korda and Sorenstam, other women will take to the field including Izzi Stricker, who partners her father, former U.S. Ryder Cup captain Steve Stricker, and Christina Langer, who will compete alongside her father, and six-time PNC Championship winner Bernhard Langer.
“It is fantastic to see more women participating in the PNC Championship this year,” Sorenstam said.

“The event has always been about bringing families together through golf, and having a larger female presence makes it even more special.”
Tiger Woods given spot should he wish to accept
According to reports, the PNC Championship is also holding a spot for 15-time major winner Tiger Woods, should he be healthy enough to compete as he continues to work his way back to the professional circuit after a long time out dealing with a back injury, and a car crash in March.
Should he decide to compete, he would do so alongside his 17-year-old son, Charlie.
Because of the tournament’s 36-hole scramble format, the 50-year-old would be permitted to use a golf card, whilst also being to share the workload with his son, and therefore reducing the physical demands that could aggravate any injury.
The father-son duo have paired up for the PNC event on five occasions, achieving a highest finishing of second-place, in the 2021 and 2024 editions of the tournament.
In the 2024 iteration, the teenage Woods stunned the crowd when he recorded the first hole-in-one of his career, before losing out to Langer and his son, Jason in a playoff round.
Should he return with his all-time great father in 2026, then he would enter the competition in fine form, having shot a two-under-par to help Benjamin High School claim the Class 1A-District 14 title at Champions Club at Summer Field in Stuart.
This included a 40-foot birdie on the 18th hole to secure medalist honors.
