A man has died after falling down the stairs at a lap dancing club in Glasgow.

Emergency services raced to the venue on Hope Street in the city centre at 12.25am on Monday.

Crews attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Our sister title, Glasgow Live, reports that the fatal fall took place at the Seventh Heaven Lap Dancing Club.

There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.25am on Saturday, 24 May, 2025, we received a report that a man had fallen down a flight of stairs at a premises on Hope Street, Glasgow. Emergency services attended, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances, and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
