Meatopia is set to cross the border
For over a decade, this foodie sensation has hosted more than 400 top chefs in London and Dublin, serving up extraordinary dishes using only ethically sourced produce and sustainable fuels.
Now, Scotland is getting its turn.
The weekend-long event, running from 6th to 8th June, promises to bring together the crème de la crème of BBQ talent from across the UK, Europe, and beyond.
Attendees can expect a carefully curated menu of smoky delights, frosty drinks, and an eclectic mix of live bands and DJs to keep the vibes alive.
Organisers proudly claim Meatopia is the only food festival that meticulously curates its daily menu while insisting on ethically sourced meat, fish, and veg, all cooked using sustainably produced fuel.
In a teaser post, event bosses said: “After 12 years on The Dock in London, we’re expanding our horizons and heading to a city that we’ve always held in our heart.
“Scotland is famous for its rich produce from land and sea, and after searching the British Isles, the Scottish people struck a nerve – we were sold.
“We’ve had the pleasure of hosting some incredible Scottish talent at our London festival over the years, but now it’s time for us to head North and launch the inaugural Scottish Meatopia.”
They added: “Expect the same passion for live-fire cooking, global talent, unrivalled vibes, and unforgettable nights. S
“Scotland, we can’t wait to see what you bring to the Meatopia party.”
