Emergency services descended on Fallowfield after a suspected drug driver ploughed into a hedge.
Images show a silver Volkswagen Passat CC which crashed into a hedge near to houses on Platt Lane this morning (May 24).
Police and paramedics were called out to the scene shortly after 10.30am.

The Manchester Evening News understands that the Volkswagen driver, a 34-year-old man, was the only person involved in the collision.
It’s understood he was treated for minor injuries at the scene by ambulance crew.
The driver was arrested by officers at the scene on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

A GMP spokesperson said: “We were called to reports of an RTC on Platt Lane just after 10.30am.
