A restaurant offering the “best brunch in Liverpool” is preparing to open a second site. Bam Boo launched on Bold Street in 2023 offering a range of breakfast and brunch classics including pancakes, bagels, poached eggs and fry-ups.
As the day goes on, Bam Boo switches from food to drinks, making the shift to a sophisticated cocktail bar with live music and jazz nights across the weekend. Bam Boo also offers boozy foodies bottomless brunches and afternoon tea.
Bam Boo has today announced it is preparing to open a second venue on Lark Lane next month. Vinyl advertising the new arrival has gone up in the storefront windows with renovations already underway.
Sharing the reveal online, a statement from Bam Boo reads: “The word is out. BAM BOO ON THE LANE. YES… You’ve heard it! We are coming to the beautiful Lark Lane very very soon!

“Expect everything from our Bold Street Venue to come to the beautiful lark lane – with 2 indoor seated areas and outdoor seats for the sunny season, BRUNCH BAR COCKTAILS! We can’t wait!”
Lloyd King, the owner of Bam Boo, told the ECHO: “This is going to be incredible. We are bringing everything amazing from the Bold Street venue to Lark Lane.
“We’ve doubled the size to around 80 customers and we have something very exciting in store. We’ve installed a glass roof over the back. It’s going to be amazing.
“Lark Lane is one of the most beautiful streets in Liverpool. It’s a hub for food and drink and a fantastic place to be. The past nearly two years on Bold Street have been fantastic – we’re chocker all the time – so opening a new branch is really exciting.

“Everything people know from the Bold Street venue will be going to Lark Lane with new additions. During the day, we’ll be giving customers all of that good food and in the evening we’ll turn into a cocktail bar.
“The Lark Lane site will look completely different during the day and at night. I’m so excited to show everyone what we’re doing.” An opening date is set for May.
Customers are delighted with the announcement, praising the second venue as “the best news ever”. One Instagram user said: “Sooo exciting!!! Can’t wait.”
A second said: “Brilliant. Best news ever!!!” A third added: “This is the best news EVER! Bottomless brunch here we come.”
