A road was closed after a man fell from his motorbike. Police confirmed officers had closed a section of Litherland Road in Bootle on Sunday (May 25) night after a man was involved in an accident involving a motorbike.

Merseyside Police officers were called to the scene, near to where the road meets Linacre Lane, after reports a man had come off his bike. The rider, in his 30s, suffered minor injuries and was seen to by paramedics.

The road remained closed when the ECHO contacted the police force, with officers waiting to recover the bike.

No other person was involved or arrested in connection to the incident.
