Emmerdale spoilers follow.
Emmerdale fans will see April Windsor’s trauma take a toll on her next week when she struggles at school – and has an unwelcome encounter with someone from her past.
After doing very little revision for her upcoming GCSEs, unmotivated April struggles to sit an exam due to feelings of panic, breaking her dad Marlon’s heart.
Desperate to help his teenage daughter, Marlon talks to the school – and when Belle suggests that April might benefit from resitting the year, Marlon sees some light at the end of the tunnel.
“After the year April’s had, the idea that she might be able to wipe the slate clean and re-do Year 11 is a welcome choice for Marlon,” our Emmerdale source tells us.

Her first responsibility is to film a christening – but her excitement soon turns to icy horror when she realises that the baby’s father is one of the vile men who threatened to urinate on her when she was living on the streets.
