Three teenagers have been charged after a boy was stabbed at Cribbs Causeway earlier this week.

On Monday, May 26, just after 5.40pm, a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in the underpass between The Mall and The Venue.

The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.

Three 16-year-old boys will appear at Bristol Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday) charged in connection to the incident.

The first boy has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a bladed article in a public place.

The second boy has been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place.

The third boy has been charged with assault by causing actual bodily harm.

The three boys, who can not be named for legal reasons, were also all charged with affray.

Avon and Somerset Police said it is believed there is no wider risk to the public at this time.

Despite this, uniformed officers will continue to carry out high visibility patrols in the area.

The police community contact vehicle is also in place in case members of the public require any further support or have any questions.
