A PENSIONER and a child have been injured following a horror late night attack at a house.

Police said they were alerted to the assault of a 72-year-old woman and a 12-year-old boy at a property on Egilsay Crescent in Glasgow shortly after midnight today.

Officers confirmed the OAP and the lad were taken to the hospital for treatment following the midnight attack.

Cops remain at the scene in the Milton area of the city as they continue to probe the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of an assault on a 72-year-old woman and a 12-year-old boy at a property on Egilsay Crescent in Glasgow shortly after 12.10am on Saturday, 12 April, 2025.

“Both was taken to hospital for treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.”
