Kylie Jenner is in her “sexy” era. The makeup mogul, reality star, and entrepreneur just debuted her Khy collection with Turkish-British designer Dilara Findikoglu. And to mark the occasion, the youngest of the Kar-Jenner clan sat down with Harper’s Bazaar to chat about her new clothes, her evolving style, her summer vibe, and that little black dress style streak she was on during awards season.
“She is so sexy this summer. She’s so sexy,” Jenner says of the Khy girl aesthetic this season. “I think last summer I had fun in Italy and I was wearing like flowy dresses and cute little tops. Now I’m like, no, no, no. It’s fun, colorful, hot, sexy; that is my vibe.”

Her new collection with Findikoglu is exactly that. There is a fitted halter dress with plenty of attention on the cleavage; there is a structured, hourglass-shaped jacket with matching pants, and a hot ruby-red minidress. Then, there is Jenner’s favorite, a silky red bra with buckled straps and a zipper down the center, which was inspired by a Dilara Findikoglu look (composed of red silk conical bra, a beige corset, and a lace-up beige miniskirt) that she wore during her Italian vacation in August 2023. “That was kind of like the inspiration for the whole collection, it all started there. So I guess I’m in Italy,” Jenner says.
She adds that she has been pairing the bra with the collection’s new khaki miniskirt, “which I love.” Jenner actually wore that exact fit to her collection launch party this past weekend—a fete which consisted of an endless fountain of dirty martinis and a starry guest list of her celebrity friends and relatives wearing her new Khy x Dilara Findikoglu pieces.

Jenner is a longtime fan of Findikoglu—a designer known for her deconstructed, ultra-fem pieces always infused with an inexplicable wow factor. Jenner first wore one of the designer’s looks during Paris Fashion Week in 2022. It was a sheer mesh midi dress with ripped pieces of silky, cherry-red fabric arranged to cover the important bits underneath.
“I actually saw the look on her runway on TikTok and fell in love with it,” Jenner recalls, adding, “For Khy, I love to work with brands and designers that I genuinely am a fan of and love, so this is for sure a dream come true. It felt right and really special.”

Through Khy, Jenner has previously collaborated with Entire Studios, Danish designer Sia Arnika, Namilia, ATLEIN, IOANNES, and Natasha Zinko. For a person not familiar with the brand, seeing all the collections together on the homepage may seem like a hodgepodge of very different styles from many different wardrobes. (There are body-hugging dresses, sexy athleisure, luxurious faux fur coats, funky denim, Matrix-style leather trenches, and now, silky bras.) That was intentional.
“The Khy girl is a trendsetter, she’s not afraid to experiment with new styles, and she is a chameleon,” Jenner says. “I think that I’m kind of a chameleon with my style; I love to play. I’ve been like that since I was 16. I changed my hair color like once a week and cut my hair off and then put a wig on or put extensions in; and I’ve always switched up my style. It’s just a part of who I am, and that definitely bleeds into Khy.”

I’ve grown up with Jenner, so of course I remember her rebellious, blue hair (and then pink hair) King Kylie era—one of her most iconic. I remember when she debuted her Kylie Lip Kits and stepped out in curve-hugging minidresses, or baggy pants and layers of diamonds. And I vividly recall when she went cottagecore for a year and fans linked the change to the start of her romance with boyfriend Timothée Chalamet. Her latest style change came this awards season, when she accompanied the A Complete Unknown star to many film festivals and award shows, always in some version of the classic little black dress.
“I think it just like happened that way,” Jenner says of her LBD style streak. “Even, recently I was like, I can’t wear another black dress. And then of course the most perfect, gorgeous Schiaparelli black dress shows up,” she adds with a laugh, speaking of the ultra-chic dress she wore to make her red-carpet debut with Chalamet earlier this month.
Jenner further explains her decision to wear black during awards season. “Although these are the most beautiful, iconic gowns that I’ve been wearing, I think a black dress is also kind of like, not too attention grabbing in the best way,” she says. “You can never go wrong with a black dress.”

The multi-hyphenate (who grabs attention no matter what she wears) has her own line of little black dresses on Khy, including a ruched bodycon number with a halter strap and a plunging neckline, and her new Khy x Dilara Findikoglu black midi dress, which is a more elevated staple. “I always find myself going back to Pam [Anderson] and my mom [Kris Jenner] in the ’80s, and then just like lots of ’90s runway,” Jenner says of her fashion inspiration.
As we wrap up the chat, the Kardashians star recalls another time her style changed: when she was pregnant with her two children, Stormi, seven, and Aire, three. “I always look up to women who look so cute like seven months pregnant, because I just didn’t really know how to dress for my body,” she recalls. “Like, I wore sweats or pajamas every day, and then postpartum was… you just go through that stage where you just don’t really know how to dress for your changing body. So that was an adjustment.”
The change, however, was temporary, Jenner says. After all, she is leading the camp of stars including Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, and Jennifer Lawrence in redefining what a mom should dress like. Should a mom slip into a shiny latex dress to hit the grocery store? Why not!
“We’re only getting sexier,” Jenner says. “Sexy moms all day long.”
