Nottingham Forest will go in search of a number of new players this summer after securing a place in the UEFA Conference League.
The Reds had held hopes of reaching the Champions League, but ultimately, it proved a bridge too far as the season progressed to the final stages.
Still, there will be funds available for transfers this summer and positions across the pitch will look to be strengthened by Evangelos Marinakis.
Last summer saw Forest pinch Nikola Milenkovic for just £12 million from Fiorentina, and it would appear that another centre-back could be on the radar for this window too.

After winning the Premier League title, it would appear that Arne Slot is now keen to reshuffle his squad ahead of the new season.
According to Caught Offside, Quansah is one of the players who could make way this summer, with Forest one of the clubs showing the most concrete interest in his services.
Quansah will cost around £30 million, with Liverpool placing that valuation on the head of their talented 22-year-old defender.
Forest won’t be alone in the race, with Everton, Newcastle and Brentford keen to sign him in the Premier and Bayer Leverkusen looking like a possible suitor from the Bundesliga.
The report, however, does say that Forest are one of the clubs that have actually shown serious interest in bringing Quansah to the City Ground this summer.
What Micah Richards said about Jarell Quansah
When the talented performer has been called upon for Liverpool he’s done a reasonable job and it does look as though he’s viewed as a star of the future.
After a game in the 2023/24 campaign, Richards told Give Me Sport: “He’s been outstanding for a young player, especially in the Man City game where they had Conor Bradley at right-back and he was playing centre-back.
“He really showed his maturity in that game.”
Forest might not be prioritising a centre-back this summer but if one is sought at some point, Quansah does fit the profile of what the Reds might look for in the market.
