Entry is ARS$20,000 and includes two glasses of wine, register online ahead of time
Pain et Vin, one of the first wine bars in Buenos Aires, is hosting an English book exchange with a twist. How does it work? Bring an English book you want to share, wrap it in a paper bag (which they provide), write a short description and the genre on the bag.
During the event, they will read the clues aloud as everyone guesses the books and goes home with a new read! The exchange comes with two glasses of wine as well (and a room full of fellow book lovers).

“Yo nunca quise ser famosa” film screening at the MALBA
Saturday 31 — 6 p.m.
MALBA (Av. Figueroa Alcorta 3415, Palermo)
Entry is ARS$6,000 with discounts for students and retirees, tickets purchased online
Malba will screen the documentary that tells the story of Lila Kay, one of the first lady crooners of Radio Nacional. Directed by Nicolás Álvarez, Joaquín Ostrovsky and Verónica de Cata “Yo nunca quise ser famosa” (“I Never Wanted to Be Famous” in English) offers an intimate look at Lila during her final years, while rescuing from obscurity one of the most beautiful female voices in Argentina.
Lila is a Polish Jewish exile who fled the Nazis with her family. Thanks to a stroke of luck and innate talent, she became a lady crooner for some of the most important jazz bands in Argentina. Her grand-nephew and his husband set out to make a biopic about her, which unexpectedly turned into a rite of passage.

Wednesdays through Sundays — noon to 7 p.m.
Fundación Proa celebrates the reopening of its renovated spaces with an exhibition presented in collaboration with the Vitra Design Museum: “¡Aquí estamos! For the first time in Argentina, the Vitra Design Museum’s collection will be on display, showcasing a selection of iconic pieces — from furniture and lighting to textiles, everyday objects, and graphic works — created by women who have transformed the field of design. In parallel, Proa dedicates a special segment to Argentine designers who have set trends in the country and continue to do so.
