YOUNG dancing super stars from Inverclyde have come home from the USA as hip hop world champions.
Gourock-based DM Diamondz entered their own teams for the first time in the international Allstar Cheer and Dance World Championships in Florida.
The hip hop senior sensations went on to take the world stage by storm finishing in first place.

They are the first Inverclyde based dance school to send their own teams to the finals – and also had a second reason to celebrate when the jazz team finished third.
And their triumph has earned them messages of congratulation from all over the world.
Emotional dance coach Ann Marie Campbell said: “I am so, so proud of the girls – not only for their achievements but for their hard work and the way they conduct themselves.
“It is just as important to go out there to make friends and meet people from all over the world.

“My dad used to always say that if you dream it, you can do it and your just have to push yourself hard enough. That is something that I always pass on to the girls, it is about hard work.”
She added: “We could see that it was coming together, the girls were just getting better and better. But we couldn’t believe it when their names were announced.
“I think it is very special to go to the USA and come out on top.”

DM Diamondz showed off their first class moves in both hip hop and jazz.
Top performer Hayley Casement, aged 19, led the teams and was joined in both by her 14-year-old sister.
Hayley, who studies sports science, said: “I have been dancing with DM Diamondz since I since I was two years old. It was an incredible achievement to go out there as a team and win.
“I have been before with Team Scotland, but it was great to represent DM Diamondz.

The top DM Diamondz squad in Florida were Eva McKenzie, hip hop; Skye McCabe, hip hop and jazz; Lucie Bradley, hip hop and jazz; Hayley Casement, hip hop and jazz; Emma Armstrong, hip hop and jazz; Brooke Kelly, hip hop and jazz; Ava Casement, hip hop and jazz; Eva Campbell, hip hop and jazz; Leah Greive, hip hop; and Eve Small, jazz.
DM Diamondz dancers of all ages have qualified for Team Scotland for several years now.
But this year dancing school coach Ann Marie decided to train her own hip hop and jazz teams, taking them to the very top.
