Barbara’s Bier Haus is coming to Bristol
Bristol’s brand new apres ski-themed bar opens today (Friday, April 11).
Barbara’s Bier Haus will open its doors next to the recently opened Circuit bar in the former home of the Pryzm nightclub.
The brand new harbourside venues are both owned by NEOS Hospitality and Barbara’s is described as an “energy-filled après ski party bar that brings all the buzz and excitement of the slopes to Bristol Harbourside”.
According to its website, its Friday opening times are 4pm-3am, and those heading down to the brand new venue can expect ”bartenders in lederhosen uniforms dancing on the bar to themed tunes’, spontaneous events like midnight shows, surprise giveaways, and ‘epic beer and cocktail towers’.
In some cases, bottles are said to arrive on a giant sled, and shots are even served on skis.
The new apres-ski themed venue will also boast its very own ‘Ski Pass’, which will unlock exclusive offers for certain visitors.
There’s also said to be a themed gondola lift you can take photos in front of, and a free photobooth for capture a snap of your night out.
After opening night, Barbara’s Bristol venue promises a calendar filled with events, including Barbara’s Music Bingo, Karaoke and Pistetake Tuesdays, as well as live music, and Barbara’s Boozy Quiz.
There will also be happy hour deals throughout the week, and even a deal that sees 50 per cent off drinks during selected hours.
Both Circuit and Barbara’s also boast venues in Cardiff, which are said to have proven extremely popular with locals.

The opening of Barbara’s Bier Haus comes following the opening of the first venue – Circuit, a ‘modern late-night venue’ that is said to be bringing ‘a new level of club scene to Bristol, with cutting-edge sound and light technology, new sounds and unique concepts’ – which opened its doors to Bristol clubgoers on January 31.
BristolLive reported back in December how Bristol’s Pryzm nightclub, which had previously been home to Oceana, would close after New Year’s Eve, and split into two separate spaces.
