VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) — Spectrum has announced the launch of its Internet, Mobile, TV, and Voice services to over 2,300 homes and small businesses in rural areas of Vigo County. This expansion is part of Spectrum’s multi-year rural construction initiative.

Josh Moore, Area Vice President for Spectrum’s Midwest South Management Area, said, “Spectrum is bringing gigabit broadband to unserved communities in Indiana and across America.” He emphasized the investment’s impact, stating that it allows Spectrum to offer high-value services in Vigo County with competitive prices and local support.

The initiative involves a $7 billion private investment aimed at extending more than 100,000 miles of fiber-optic network infrastructure. This effort will provide high-speed internet access to over 1.7 million new locations nationwide, enhancing connectivity in underserved areas.
