Police officers are responding to a serious incident in Hartcliffe this evening (Thursday, May 29) involving a car.
One person has been taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening.
The car driver failed to stop at the scene and enquiries to identify them are continuing this evening.
A spokesperson for Avon & Somerset Police told Bristol Live: “Officers are responding to a collision involving a car in south Bristol this evening (Thursday 29 May).
“It was reported to us at about 5.45pm and there are road closures in the area of Mowcroft Road, Grinfield Avenue and Hareclive Road as a result.
“The car driver failed to stop at the scene and enquiries to identify them are ongoing.
“We understand one person presented at hospital after sustaining injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
“Anyone with information that could assist our enquiries is asked to call 101 and quote reference number 5225149893.”
