A damning report in relation to the Cardiac Unit at Royal Victoria Hospital is to be published.
Patients were harmed and put at risk as a result of cultural tensions, bullying and “poor behaviour” in the only cardiac surgery unit in Northern Ireland, an MLA has said.
DUP MLA Diane Dodds today welcomed the Health Minister’s agreement to her request to publish a “damning report” into the Cardiac Unit at the Royal Victoria Hospital – with the Belfast Trust accepting there has been “an intolerable working environment”.
