Train passengers have been issued a 15 day warning in the Midlands.

Those using a train station in the West Midlands region have been told they face parking disruption.

The warning has been made to travellers using Tame Bridge Parkway in Wednesbury.

The station serves passengers travelling to Birmingham New Street, alongside Walsall and Wolverhampton.

Train operator West Midlands Railway has warned that resurfacing work is taking place.

The work began today (April 12) and will last until April 27.

As a result parking or drop-off zones are not currently available.

Passengers have been advised to use alternative parking sites if they wish to park.

West Midlands Railway posted on X: “Car park resurfacing works are taking place at Tame Bridge Parkway between the 12-27th April.

“During this time, there is no parking or drop off at the ticket office car park.

“Please use alternative stations for car parking.”
