Leeds have been linked with a host of playmakers already as Farke aims to upgrade on Brenden Aaronson this summer.

Emi Buendia became the latest name to be strongly linked again following the emergence of Jack Rudoni as a possible target.

James McAtee has been on Leeds’ radar for a long time and a departure is looking increasingly imminent.

Manchester City have left McAtee out of their Club World Cup squad for this summer’s tournament, indicating his time at the club is at an end.

Leeds are eager to bring Manor Solomon back to the club following his title-clinching loan spell last season.

It had appeared the move would be a simple one after Tottenham reportedly told Solomon to leave the club this week.

However, a fresh report emerged on Friday that suggested the winger’s fate might drag on longer than anticipated.

The Daily Mail reported that a final call on Solomon’s future won’t be made until Ange Postecoglou’s fate is decided.

Hopefully, for Leeds, that will be sooner rather than later.

Another player who looked set for a summer move that now might not be so cut and dry is Gustavo Hamer.

Reports earlier this week suggested Sheffield United were resigned to losing Hamer following their dramatic Play-off final defeat to Sunderland.

However, the Blades are reportedly not giving him up without a fight.

The Sheffield Star reports that it’s ‘by no means a foregone conclusion’ that Hamer will leave, as the playmaker is settled in Sheffield and is in ‘no rush to force an exit.’

In better news for Leeds, though, it was added that Hamer wants to ‘test himself at the highest level’ as he reaches his peak years.
