A man has died after a quadbike was left overturned following a collision. Gwent Police are appealing for more information after paramedics pronounced a man dead at the scene of the incident.
At around 4.50am on Saturday, May 31 officers attended the scene on the A465 westbound, between Rhymney and Dowlais after reports of a crash in the early hours of the morning. A quadbike was found overturned with a man found next to the vehicle.

Officers investigating the collision are appealing for anyone who may have information on the events leading up to the collision and the crash itself.
A spokesperson for Gwent Police said: “We received reports of a road traffic collision on the A465 westbound, between Rhymney and Dowlais, after a quadbike was found overturned in the carriageway at around 4.50am on Saturday 31 May.
“Officers attended, along with paramedics from the Welsh Ambulance Service, and a man found next to the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Officers investigating the circumstances leading up to the collision would like to speak to anyone who was travelling on the A465 westbound, between Rhymney and Dowlais, between the hours of 1.30am – 4.50am on Saturday 31 May.
