Kevin De Bruyne latest
Manchester City departing star Kevin De Bruyne is on the brink of joining Napoli.
De Bruyne will become a free agent after his City contract comes to an end in June.
According to Di Marzio, the playmaker has struck a deal to join the newly-crowned Serie A champions.
The Partenopei are now looking to quickly wrap up a move for the Belgium international on Sunday.
Negotiations are said to be a formality, with paperwork expected to be finalised tomorrow.
The 33-year-old will then undergo a medical before penning a contract, with an official announcement to follow afterwards.
Benjamin Sesko hijack
Manchester United could hijack Arsenal’s transfer deal for RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko.
According to Bild’s transfer insider Christian Falk, the Gunners are already in talks to try and strike a deal for Sesko which could climb to as high as £85million.
However, Falk indicates that the North Londoners will not be allowed to complete the move without competition.
That comes in the form of United, who are also looking to land a new striker.
But Man Utd are said to have a secret weapon in trying to convince the Slovenia international about a deal, and that is their director of recruitment Christopher Vivell.
The 22-year-old was personally watched by Vivell back in April, with Sun Sport revealing how he had a “gentleman’s agreement” with Leipzig to leave for around £60m if a top club tables an offer.
Vivell has already brought Sesko once before, to Red Bull Salzburg as a 16-year-old in 2019.
Potential Bruno replacement
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim will make a £70million swoop for Sporting Lisbon star Pedro Goncalves if Bruno Fernandes heads for Saudi Arabia.
Fernandes has until Friday to tell Al-Hilal if he is up for a move to the Middle East, and the Saudis are ready to pay £100m if they get the thumbs up.
And if the playmaker does take the plunge on a three-year deal, the cash-strapped Red Devils could afford Goncalves – also known as Pote – with money to spare.
Amorim would still prefer to keep his captain and insisted he was confident of doing so.
