A man was taken to hospital after a emergency services responded to an incident in north Manchester.
It happened on Harpurhey Road in Harpurhey at around 10:30pm last night (Friday, May 30).
The Manchester Evening News understands a man was found laid out in the road by concerned locals.
Police and paramedics both responded after the members of the public raised the alarm.
Pictures from the scene showed around eight police vehicles and an ambulance parked on the road, which was temporarily blocked off whilst crews dealt with the incident.
A Greater Manchester Police (GMP) spokesperson confirmed they had responded to a concern for the welfare of a man.

He was taken to hospital by ambulance, they said.
