Everton are thriving under David Moyes after his return in January brought a new lease of life to the club.
After almost three months in the job, Moyes is finally relaxing about the Toffees’ Premier League safety.
Moyes will now visit Bramley-Moore Dock, which he has been keen to avoid until the club were clear of any relegation worries.
There is still plenty of work needing to be done on Merseyside, though, as Everton begin to prepare for a huge summer in the club’s history.
With his impressive run, Moyes has proven a lot of pundits wrong and the Friedkins could not have asked for much of a better start.
However, there is one former Everton manager who has admitted he’d love another crack of the whip on Merseyside.

Amid Moyes’ positive run at Goodison Park, David Unsworth shared his frustration in Everton selling Antonee Robinson.
The 51-year-old has seen a lot during his time at the club, which came to an end back in 2022 as he sought managerial opportunities.
Speaking to Team Talk, the former Everton coach has now admitted he’d love another opportunity to manage the club if the chance ever came up.
“I will be forever grateful for the opportunity and loved every second. I would’ve died to have got the job, it was my dream. Everton has been my life since I was 13 years old and I just absolutely loved the club,” he said.

“After I’d got a taste for first-team management, I felt I had to go and have a go. Sometimes you pick the right club, sometimes you don’t. But there is no bigger job than managing Everton, for me. That ambition will never leave me.”
There’s no danger of the 61-year-old losing his job any time soon after Moyes won Manager of the Month for February.
However, it is clear to see just how much love Unsworth has for the club and that cannot go unrecognised.
Unsworth expects David Moyes to nurture Everton talents
Everton have had their full focus on fighting the prospect of Premier League relegation over recent months.
But the club will be keen to bring some of their own talent through this summer, as well as adding quality in the transfer market.
Those at Everton are excited about Harrison Armstrong’s potential following his impressive start on loan at Derby County.
Opportunities may not be there currently for the youngsters, but Unsworth has backed Moyes to bring them through in time.
“David was strong and would’ve given players an opportunity. He certainly would’ve known about them about paid attention to the academy. Some managers did and others didn’t – I won’t name names!” he added.
“You’ll see it again with Moyes this time, because he’s strong and knows the importance of bringing your own talent through into the first team.”
