PS Plus June 2025 PollImage: Push Square

The PS Plus Essential games for June 2025 have been confirmed, and as always, we’re here to gather your thoughts — positive or negative.

Once again, this is a selection that we can see being quite divisive — and not just because there’s a sports title headlining the list.

Yep, NBA 2K25 is the big addition for June, a basketball sim that feels great to play, but by almost all accounts, is held back by some genuinely egregious microtransactions. For publisher 2K, getting this one on PS Plus, and trying to attract as many new players as possible, is probably a sound business strategy.

Next up, we’ve got the Alone in the Dark reboot, which reviewed reasonably well — although it did suffer from performance woes on PS5 at launch. It’s joined by something completely different in madcap Jet Set Radio successor Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.

And finally, we’ve got Destiny 2: The Final Shape. An undeniably hard sell for anyone who isn’t already familiar with Bungie’s ongoing shooter, the expansion was at least well received when it launched last year.
