Royal Bodewes said the ship will be built to meet the increasing demands for sustainable maritime transatlantic transport between Europe and North America.

The ship will be fitted with one MAN methanol-ready main engine and two deck cranes, each with a lifting capacity of 80 tons, making it ideal for heavy-duty cargo operations. It will also be equipped with sail-assisted propulsion technology, which the builder said will directly reduce CO2 emissions while maintaining high speed.
