Footage of a brutal city centre attack has been widely shared online with dozens condemning the violence.
The video shows a man being hit in the head with a bottle near Centenary Square in Birmingham.
He was taken to hospital with cuts to his head following the ordeal.
A woman was also punched to the ground during the incident, police have said.

They added that the attack took place at around 8pm on Saturday, March 29.
West Midlands Police are continuing to investigate what happened and are aware of the video being shared on social media, they told BirminghamLive.
The force has asked for anyone with information to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
A spokesperson said: “We’re aware of a video circulating online after a man was hit with a bottle in Birmingham city centre.

“A man in his 20s sustained cuts to his head near Centenary Square at just before 8pm on 29 March.
“A woman in her 20s was also knocked to the floor after being punched in the face.
“Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances, and who was involved, are ongoing.”
