Britain’s Got Talent 2025 winner Harry Moulding appeared on Lorraine as he teased “extra special element” ahead of his Royal Variety performance that involves King Charles.

ITV’s hit talent show first graced our screens back in 2007 and has become a must-watch staple in households across the UK, year after year.

Viewers may recall that previous years of the hit show have celebrated the winning performances of acts such as Diversity, Ashleigh and Pudsey, Sydnie Christmas and Paul Potts win the public over.

As the 18th series came to a close, it was a close call between dance troupe Blackouts and magician Harry Moulding to take home the prize.

It was announced that the latter was the winner of Britain’s Got Talent 2025, and the Lancashire-born magician won a whopping £250,000 prize.

Not only that, but Harry will be performing in front of the royal family at this year’s Royal Variety show.

Appearing on Lorraine, Harry sat down with Ranvir Singh to discuss his big win. He shared: “It was just chaos, but the most amazing chaos. Simon, the rest of the judges, they all brought the families over, I got to meet Eric, Simon’s son… It was amazing. I was partying with KSI afterwards and it was just absolutely surreal.

“I had to thank KSI because if he hadn’t pressed his golden buzzer last week then who knows?”

When asked about the upcoming Royal Variety performance, Harry teased: “Well, it’s an extra special element of the Royal Variety which I’m not sure most people realise. You touched on the ‘magic circle’, King Charles is a member of the magic circle.

“The inner magic circle as well. He auditioned performing the oldest trick in magic, the cups and balls. So, he’s actually a magician himself and I just love the opportunity to meet him and maybe even involve him in the act, who knows, hopefully he’ll be a fan of what I do.”

Speaking of the “magic circle” which includes a selection of the most talented magicians, Harry added: “I became a member when I was a teenager, I was 19. It’s been the most amazing thing to have such a support from the magic community and outside of the magic community. I felt like everyone was behind me.”

Harry started out as a magician at just 10-years-old, as he recalled: “At the age of 10 I changed from going out and playing with my friends, who come and knock on for me and say ‘Harry are you playing out’ and I’d just be like ‘no, I want to learn magic’.

“I’m just, you know, absolutely loving being surrounded by all these books and tricks and props, and it was just the best thing ever.”
