A Texas federal judge denied Charter Communications Inc.’s efforts to escape patent infringement allegations concerning high-speed internet service.
Charter, which does business as Spectrum, didn’t show how a magistrate judge’s report and recommendation was erroneous in denying the telecommunications company’s motion to transfer or dismiss Adaptive Spectrum and Signal Alignment Inc.’s lawsuit, Judge Rodney Gilstrap said in a May 29 order filed in the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Gilstrap overruled Charter’s objections and adopted the March report and recommendation.
