LAUREL Co., Ky. (WYMT) – A London man was arrested after reportedly driving under the influence.
Officers with the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office said Lucas Nantz, 39, was arrested on May 29 at 10:03 a.m. off E. Pittsburg Church Road, approximately 2 miles north of London.
Deputies said they were sent to the area after a complaint about Nantz hitting a mailbox. The man reportedly left the scene on foot.
When officers arrived at the scene, they said Nantz was impaired. He was also found with a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.
He was charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, operating on suspended or revoked operator’s license, and leaving the scene of an accident.
He was taken to the Laurel County Correctional Center.
