MILPITAS, Calif. — June 3, 2025 — VDURA today announced Version 11.2 of the VDURA Data Platform, designed to accelerate AI and HPC workloads through native Kubernetes CSI support, end-to-end encryption, and the introduction of the VDURACare Premier support offering.
The release also previews V-ScaleFlow, a capability within the VDURA Data Platform that enables seamless data movement across high-performance QLC flash and high-capacity disk. By orchestrating the flow of data between performance tiers — including hyperscale-class QLC SSDs and ultra-dense HDDs — V-ScaleFlow optimizes resource utilization, maximizes system throughput, and drives exceptional efficiency for AI-scale workloads.
The platform includes:
- Native CSI Plug-in: Simplifies multi-tenant, Kubernetes based deployments with zero-script persistent-volume provisioning and management.
- End-to-End Encryption: Comprehensive security with transparent, tenant-per-volume encryption from data in flight to at rest.
- VDURACare Premier: One simple contract covering hardware, software, and support, including 10-year, no-cost replacement of drives and 24×7 expert response.
- V-ScaleFlow (Technology Preview): An Optimized Data Flow layer that manages seamless placement and movement of data across hyperscale QLC flash (e.g., Pascari 128TB) and high-density HDDs (e.g., 30TB+). By dynamically optimizing data placement, V-ScaleFlow reduces flash capacity requirements by over 50 percent and lowers power consumption, delivering breakthrough economics for AI pipelines.
Features:
- Seamless Data Movement Across Tiers: V-ScaleFlow enables intelligent data placement and movement between QLC flash and HDDs, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Hyperscale-Class Storage Economics: Leverages high-capacity QLC SSDs and HDDs to reduce TCO by up to 60 percent.
- NVMe-Class Performance: Sub-millisecond latency and 30 percent throughput boost keep GPUs saturated.
- Cloud-Native Simplicity: Native Kubernetes CSI simplifies stateful AI pipeline deployment.
- Comprehensive Support: VDURACare Premier — 10-year, risk-free coverage and 24×7 expert response.
“V11.2 delivers the speed, cloud-native simplicity, and security our customers expect — while V-ScaleFlow applies hyperscaler design principles, leveraging the same commodity SSDs and HDDs to enable efficient scaling and breakthrough economics,” said Ken Claffey, CEO of VDURA.
VDURA Data Platform V11.2 will be generally available on new V5000 systems in Q3 2025. V-ScaleFlow will reach general availability in Q4 2025. Existing V5000 customers can upgrade to V11.2 through an online software update.
