A 12-year-old girl has been selected to represent Great Britain at the European Kickboxing Championships.
Sophie, from Tidworth, will be competing at the WAKO European Kickboxing Championships in Italy this September.
This is a major achievement for the young athlete as this is one of the highest levels of competition in the sport.
Sophie has a strong track record in the sport, holding multiple British titles and winning a bronze medal at the WAKO World Championships last year.

Fighting Falcons Tidworth is a satellite club of the main club based at the Salto Centre in Charlton.
Despite securing a sponsor for the European Championships, Sophie still needs funds to cover the costs of other major competitions and training equipment as kickboxing in the UK is entirely self-funded.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help Sophie with her costs.
The club said: “It would mean a great deal if you could help by featuring Sophie’s story and promoting the fundraising campaign.
“This is a chance not only to support a rising local athlete but also to celebrate the positive impact of sports clubs like Falcons Tidworth.”
