Coco Gauff could face a reunion with either Iga Swiatek or Aryna Sabalenka at the French Open after reaching the semi-finals.
Gauff praised Madison Keys after winning their quarter-final clash, which took place under the roof at Court Philippe-Chatrier.
WTA number one and top seed Sabalenka meanwhile beat Qinwen Zheng at the same stage of the French Open, with Swiatek knocking out Elina Svitolina.
Paul Annacone says Gauff is the favourite to win the French Open ahead of Sabalenka and Swiatek, but she must first navigate through the semi-finals.
Sabalenka and Swiatek face off in the other semi-final, with the latter having won four of the last five titles at Roland Garros.

Gauff lost one of those French Open finals to the Pole, with Tim Henman now sharing her chances of exacting revenge or indeed beating Sabalenka.
The former British number one said on TNT Sports: “The beauty of our sport is that Coco Gauff only had to be better than Madison Keys today and she was. She found a way to win that match and she gives herself another opportunity.

“Even if she were to come up against [Mirra] Andreeva in the next round I think Andreeva is going to cause problems, but that’s her job for the next round, to be better than Andreeva.
“You would have thought that if she were to come up against Sabalenka or Swiatek that level is not good enough, but she gives herself a chance.
“And because she is a great champion she might find her form, she might play with a bit more freedom and she might play better so she has given herself a chance.”
Coco Gauff emulates Martina Hingis after French Open win over Madison Keys
Sabalenka and Gauff headed into the French Open ranked first and second in the world respectively, with Swiatek having dropped to fifth.
It is, however, the Pole who leads the way among the trio for Grand Slam titles, having won five during her glittering career so far.

Sabalenka follows with three, while Gauff defeated the Belarusian in the 2023 US Open final to win her only Grand Slam title to date.
But she is currently flying the flag proudly for her nation in Paris, with Gauff now the youngest American in the Open Era to claim 25 women’s singles match wins at Roland Garros, as per OptaAce.
Moreover, the 21-year-old is the youngest overall since a 19-year-old Martina Hingis achieved the feat in 2000.
But if she does reach another final at the French Open, a very difficult task awaits the nine-time WTA champion.
Both Sabalenka and Swiatek are in formidable form at the clay court Grand Slam, which the Pole has won for three years running.
The Belarusian meanwhile has yet to drop a set at the event, although Swiatek and Gauff follow closely in that regard with just one dropped each.
