Nobody is said to have been injured in the fires.
A pair of teenage girls have been arrested and charged after incidents of vehicles being deliberately set alight in Edinburgh.
The fires occurred at around 11.30pm on Friday, April 11, in Stenhouse. Police said the teens, aged 15 and 17, were arrested following a blaze on Saughton Mains Park, and another on Whitson Road.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service dispatched one appliance, and left the scene after the flames were put out. It is understood nobody was injured, reports Edinburgh Live.
A picture taken from the scene of one of the fires shows a car completely engulfed by flames, with thick grey smoke billowing into the night sky.
It is parked on a residential street, and appears to be dangerously close to houses and other cars.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two females, aged 15 and 17, have been arrested and charged in connection with wilful vehicle fires on Saughton Mains Park and Whitson Road, Edinburgh.
“A report has been submitted to the relevant authorities.”
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We received the call at 11.30pm, and we mobilised one fire appliance.
“We left after making the scene safe and extinguishing the vehicle.”
