Manchester City have been incredibly busy on the transfer front this summer, with three new signings potentially on the cards right away.
Tijjani Reijnders has agreed a move to Man City and a medical is imminent, while Rayan Ait-Nouri is also closing on a move to the Etihad Stadium.
Rayan Cherki is the third player who has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City.
Fabrizio Romano previously reported that Man City have already agreed personal terms with Cherki.
Now, Romano has relayed information of what Cherki himself has said about his prospective move to City.

Cherki made his France debut in Thursday night’s thrilling 5-4 loss to Spain in the UEFA Nations League semi-finals.
Indeed, Cherki’s display very nearly helped Les Bleus draw level after having been 4-0 down and then 5-1 down in the game.
The 21-year-old scored, provided an assist, and played a big part in another of France’s goals on the night.
Better still, the player himself revealed after the match that the move is happening.
“Yes… it’s getting done,” Cherki told Telefoot. “But you already know my answer, everybody knows.
“But there’s still a game to play. Now we have to enjoy and give everything, but after it will be done.”

Why Rayan Cherki could take the Premier League by storm
Cherki is just 21 years of age and was making his debut for France as they were losing heavily to Spain, the reigning European champions and probably the best team in the world right now.
This sort of scenario would cause most players to wilt in such circumstances, but Cherki stepped up and delivered a superb display that very nearly got them level.
That followed on for a great season with Lyon as he bagged 12 goals and 20 assists in all competitions, including four goals and eight assists in the Europa League.
“He is the best natural talent I’ve ever seen,” teammate Ainsley Maitland-Niles – formerly of Arsenal – said of Cherki earlier this year.

“An absolute master, a wizard with the ball. He’s taking chances, assists and dragging us up the pitch by taking people on and nutmegging them – he is a genius.
“He is two-footed, has no fear, keeps going and going, can get past people with such ease, such finesse.”
After what we saw from Cherki on Thursday night, it’ll be incredibly exciting to see how he fares in the Premier League – he could well take the competition by storm.
