POLICE have sealed off a hotel in Glasgow city centre amid a major ongoing emergency incident.
Cops cordoned off Sandman Signature Hotel on West George Street, blocking access to the public.

Multiple police vehicles as well as several units from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service were spotted at the scene.
Officers say they were first called to the hotel, which is also close to Holland Street, at around 2.10pm yesterday.
But units are still stationed at the hotel today, with crews spotted on the street this morning.
Blue tape has also been erected across both ends of the street blocking anyone from accessing the hotel.
No one is being allowed access to get through this section of the road.
Two police vans are currently sitting on the bottom of the road in front of the blue tape.
And a fire engine is parked on the opposite side near the entrance of the hotel.
It is clear what sparked the emergency response.
However, officers confirmed that they received reports of “a concern for person” at the hotel yesterday afternoon.
The force also explained that while the incident is still ongoing, it has been contained to the hotel.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a concern for person at a hotel on West George Street in Glasgow around 2.10pm on Saturday, 12 April, 2025.
“The incident remains ongoing and is contained to the property.
“Emergency services remain at the scene.”
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed that it has one unit at the scene.
The Sandman Signature Hotel has been contacted for comment.
