The AA is warning drivers to be careful on West Midlands roads this weekend after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms.
The region looks set to be hit with heavy showers and potential thunder on Saturday, June 7.
The warning is in place in the region, which includes Birmingham and Wolverhampton, between 9am and 6pm.

Met Office has the weather conditions could lead to potential flooding and buildings being struck by lightning.
Shaun Jones, AA Patrol of the Year, said: “If you must travel, reduce your speed to account for the conditions and leave plenty of space behind other vehicles.
“Allow extra time, as it’s likely your journey will take longer than usual, and ensure you have plenty of fuel or electrical charge.
“In a thunderstorm, water can quickly run off the road causing flash flooding.
“It only takes one incident to cause long tailbacks, so keep tuned to local traffic reports and reduce your speed as appropriate for the conditions.
“Never risk driving through flood water and if you find yourself aquaplaning, ease off the accelerator to slow down gently.
“Ensure your mobile phone is fully charged and download the AA app and what3words to help us get to you faster if the worse should happen.”
Met Office’s forecast for the West Midlands reads: “Heavy showers and thunderstorms may lead to some disruption to transport and infrastructure.
“There is a good chance driving conditions will be affected by spray, standing water and/or hail, leading to longer journey times by car and bus.
“Probably some damage to a few buildings and structures from lightning strikes.
“Delays to train services are possible. Some short term loss of power and other services is likely.”
