Makyle Taggart, 29, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a pensioner died following a crash on February 9 this year.
71-year-old Wynford ‘Willie’ Griffiths died following the collision in Audley Road, Stetchford, Birmingham.
West Midlands Police also said: “A second man, Zephaniah Taggar, aged 32, was charged with disqualified driving relating to an incident prior to the collision and also remanded.”
Both were remanded to appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today (Friday, June 6).
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Mr Griffiths’ family has been informed of this development.
“Our thoughts remain with them at this tragic time.”
