Midlands passengers travelling on CrossCountry services have been warned to expect short-notice cancellations.
From today, there will be cancellations to CrossCountry services in the region.
This is due to planned industrial action by the National Union of Rail, Maritime and Transport Workers (RMT).

RMT union members at CrossCountry agreed to industrial action, short of a strike, on weekdays and Saturdays.

Members will not work overtime or on days they’re not down to work.
The industrial action will affect a number of different roles, CrossCountry said.
Restrictions on when train managers and senior conductors can work will mean an increased number of short-notice cancellations across its network during this period.

Richard Morris, CrossCountry’s Service Delivery Director, said: “We’re sorry to customers who will be disrupted by industrial action.
“While we’re working hard to run as many services as possible over this period, we know there will be more cancellations than usual across all routes from Monday, June 9.

“I’d ask those planning to travel to check their journey in advance, as well as on the day.
