In the new series, audiences join The Doctor (Ncuti Gatwa) and Belinda Chandra (Varada Sethu) on an epic quest to get Belinda back to Earth. But a mysterious force is stopping their return and the time-travelling TARDIS team must face great dangers, ferocious enemies and wilder terrors than ever before.

Doctor Who Season 2 concluded on BBC One last weekend with The Reality War which scored overnight audience of 2.2m. BARB data has now been released which shows the episode has consolidated to 3.44m after 7-days.

Overall, it was by far the BBC’s biggest show of Saturday night, and the second highest rating of the night overall, behind the Britain’s Got Talent final on ITV.

The synopsis for the episode reads: “Battle rages across the skies as the Unholy Trinity unleash their deadly ambition. The Doctor, Belinda and Ruby have to risk everything in their quest to save one innocent life.”
