Bristol Rovers are expected to be well supported as always on the road during the upcoming season despite the club’s relegation to League Two.

For Gasheads, there will be a number of familiar grounds that Rovers have travelled to in recent years in either League One or League Two. However, there are also going to be some trips that haven’t been done for the best part of a decade, such as Barnet and Grimsby Town. In fact, the Pirates have never faced Bromley in a league fixture with their only trip to Hayes Lane coming in an FA Cup replay back in 2019.

While Rovers fans will be putting in the miles on the road over the course of the season to get to places like Barrow-in-Furness, Fleetwood and Harrogate amongst others, there will also be a couple of clashes with West Country neighbours. Fixtures against Cheltenham Town and Swindon Town will be ones to look forward to, while Newport County is geographically the closest of the lot.

Supporters will have to wait that little bit longer to start putting fixtures into their diaries as the EFL schedule will be confirmed on Thursday, June 26.

There is never a guaranteed allocation number until ticket details for fixtures are confirmed by the two clubs, but Bristol Live used AwayGames.co.uk to get a rough idea of the allocation Rovers could get for every away trip during the upcoming season.
