Get out your Necronomicons and rev up your chainsaws, Evil Dead’s going on tour! Black Ink Presents is bringing a new, restored version of Sam Raimi’s cult classic film to the big screen, this time with live musical accompaniment. Evil Dead in Concert kicks off this fall, reimagining the film for audiences, whether they’ve seen it one time or a million.
Beginning in Buffalo on September 22, the tour will slash its way through over fifty cities across the United States, including Pittsburgh, Columbus, Detroit, Des Moines, Kansas City, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Houston, Orlando, New Orleans, and more. The newly restored version of the film will be accompanied by a live ensemble performing composer Joe LoDuca’s entire original score for the cult classic.
“The ultimate horror movie concert experience has arrived with a night of cinematic chaos, demonic energy, and killer sounds,” says John Kinsner, CEO of Black Ink Presents. “It’s not every day you get to watch someone chainsaw a demon while a live ensemble performs.”
“I am so excited for audiences around the country to join us on an intense, aural descent into hell with this beautiful score and all its madness,” added LoDuca, who would go on to become a frequent collaborator with Raimi, writing the scores for both Evil Dead II and Army of Darkness, as well as the series Ash vs. Evil Dead, and shows like Xena: Warrior Princess, Leverage, and The Librarians. He also recently released Evil Dead: A Nightmare Reimagined, featuring rerecorded and expanded versions of his original Evil Dead score.

Evil Dead’s tour of America comes on the heels of the announcement of Evil Dead Burn, Sébastien Vaniçek’s newest film in the franchise. The film, starring Souheila Yacoub, Hunter Doohan, and Tandi Wright, will hit theaters in July of 2026, though we still know precious little about it.
Tickets for Evil Dead in Concert go on sale this Friday, June 13. For more information, you can visit the tour’s website.
