Leeds United have been linked with a raft of new players this week with Jaka Bijol the likeliest to end up at Elland Road this summer – while talks have been held for Anderlecht’s Mario Stroeykens.
It started with Udinese and Slovenia ace Bijol being linked with a move to Elland Road. It is believed that Leeds have confidence he will put pen to paper, a deal for Bijol costing between £12.7m and £15.2m.
A £22m bid has been made for Strasbourg captain Habib Diarra, who scored for Senegal on Tuesday in a 3-1 win over England at The City Ground. Diarra though sees himself joining an elite club this summer.
Leeds are less confident over a deal for Diarra. The Whites are also said to have held talks for Aston Villa ace Alex Moreno, while also staging talks for Anderlecht gem Mario Stroeykens with a view to a deal.

Stroeykens is highly-rated in Belgian football after breaking through the Anderlecht youth academy and following in the footsteps of Belgium superstars Youri Tielemans and Romelu Lukaku, a Serie A champion.
The 20-year-old is a target for Leeds with Stroeykens rejecting a new contract at Anderlecht. Belgian site Voetbal24 report that Leeds can sign Stroeykens for a fee of £12m, as he enters the final year of his deal.
The report describes Stroeykens as the ‘perfect fit’ for Leeds’ strategy with Adam Underwood looking to buy young, experienced players that can shine in the Premier League and sold for a profit down the line.

With a view to a move this summer, Stroeykens is represented by the worldwide-renowned CAA Stellar. An agency that works primarily right at the top end of European football and represents some big names.

There are a handful of Leeds players on their list. According to TransferMarkt, Willy Gnonto, Dan James, Jayden Bogle, Joe Rodon, are represented by CAA Stellar – as are Kalvin Phillips and Mateusz Bogusz.
So with Leeds in talks to sign Stroeykens this summer, The Whites may find a boost or a smoother path in orchestrating a deal given they would be speaking to an agency they know well through their own stars.
