Greek market regulator fines 53 businesses a total of €163,000

The Interagency for Market Control (DIMEA) imposed fines totaling 163,000 euros in May, following nationwide inspections.

DIMEA imposed fines ranging from €500 to €3,000 on 53 businesses, but in two cases fines of €52,000 and €18,000 were imposed.

The fines concerned the implementation of the rules about the proper functioning of the internal market and the provision of services.
