Conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer, who once claimed 9/11 was an “inside job,” is back in the headlines. In an impromptu act, Loomer took to her X handle on Thursday, June 12, and dropped a hint about something major happening. “Something big is happening,” she simply wrote in the tweet, followed by a series of other cryptic posts on her handle. Internet users were left confused, with many making the wildest guesses about protests or fresh actions in the Iran-Israel conflict.

Many flooded the comment section and dropped epic reactions, with some joking over the prediction. One asked, “Raising oil prices to save Russia again?” while another added, “Like… horrifyingly big? Or is the insurrection we all saw coming about to kick off big?”

A user guessed, “The U.S. evacuating non-essential personnel from Iraq, Bahrain and Kuwait, alongside the UK’s warning of military escalation in key shipping lanes, signals a critical juncture. These moves, timed with Trump’s Iran stance and Camp David talks, point to a serious, impending event. Eyes wide open.” Another person commented on how there could be a major shift against the deep state or corrupt elites.

“Could this be related to fresh intel on the Ukraine conflict or a new development exposing Biden’s shady deals? Trump’s administration always stays ten steps ahead. Keep your eyes peeled; 2025 is full of surprises they don’t want you to know about,” the user wrote.

Referring to the US government’s recent decision to evacuate the embassy in Iraq, social media users wondered if Loomer’s remarks had anything to do with it. “The US is evacuating non-essential personnel across the Middle East…it’s probably not good,” one wrote. Others quipped if the US is planning to launch an attack against the potential Israeli strikes on Iran or lead a war in the Middle East.

In her follow-up tweets, Loomer went on to share updates about cyberattacks across the Middle East, claiming that Iran has started attacking Kuwaiti and Jordanian military servers.

This is not the first time that Laura Loomer has stirred a discussion online. She is well-known for her anti-Muslim rhetoric and conspiracy theories, including the 9/11 attack. In the most recent reports, it was suggested that Loomer was behind the firing of top National Security Council officials by President Trump. Loomer reportedly urged Trump to fire specific employees; however, the president later denied the claims.
