Princess Eugenie joins Prince William’s team as she shifting focus from alleged Prince Harry rift

Princess Eugenie, who previously shared close ties with cousin Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle, stands firmly next to Prince William as he embarks on a key mission.

The Prince of Wales has been actively working on a few significant projects as he secretly prepares for his destined role in the monarchy. He is reportedly defining his legacy beforehand and continuing the mission of his father, King Charles.

William, who is passionate about the environment and founded the Earthshot Prize to find practical solutions to save the planet, recently made a powerful speech about the urgent need to protect the world’s oceans.

The younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson has also previously demonstrated her dedication to conserving the marine life. Now, Eugenie is also joining forces with her cousin William to spread the important message.

There was a time when Eugenie supported Prince Harry – who is estranged from his brother William – despite his exit from the royal family in 2020. However, The Sun reported that the relationship had “soured”. Meanwhile, Eugenie is focusing on important matters as her “priorities have shifted”.

Just after William delivered a rousing speech in Monaco, urging leaders to protect the world’s oceans, Eugenie shared a message of support to the future king.

“The ocean is the greatest wonder of the world,” she wrote on social media. “Celebrating @unworldoceansday today and ever[y]day.”

She told Hello! previously that since her son August was born in 2021 it had “positively impacted [her] desire to do more”.

“Priorities change when you have children; you want to do everything you can for them – and for your grandchildren,” she said, adding that one day her work “seeps through” and hopes one day her son “takes it on, too”.

The update also comes as royal sources insist the future king has big plans in store for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie – who are currently non-working members of the royal family.

Royal author Ingrid Seward recently claimed that the when William ascends the throne, Beatrice and Eugenie will be “valuable assets”, and they will “certainly” get involved with royal duties.
