It is a traditional summer drink from the western coastal regions of India, especially Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. It is made from the deep purple kokum fruit mixed with water and salt. It helps lower body heat, making it ideal for hot and humid climates. Also, it stimulates digestion and helps relieve acidity and bloating.
