With four wheels, you can travel from the site of Bridget Jones’ romantic reawakening to some of James Bond’s most daring destinations, and even Tom Cruise and Jean Reno’s Mission: Impossible safe house.
These scenes really come alive when you’re in the driving seat, and the new Alfa Romeo Junior Ibrida – a compact and sporty hybrid, perfect for urban exploration – is ready to take you from opening credits to the final scene.
A roadmap for a real journey through London’s most memorable filming locations. Grab your co-pilot and hit the road through London’s most memorable filming locations.
West London film locations: “Come the f**k on, Bridget”

Start your day in West London with the famous blue door in Notting Hill, pictured above, on Westbourne Park Road, where Hugh Grant was bombarded by paparazzi after being spotted with superstar actress Julia Roberts in the classic romcom named after the district.
Less scandalous is the antique shop featured in Paddington 2, which is broken into by Hugh Grant (he’s becoming a regular around these parts). The store is actually Alice’s antiques shop, and can be found on Portobello Road – right next to Michael Caine’s flat from The Italian Job.
End your first pit stop at Primrose Hill, main image, where Bridget Jones overlooks London in Mad About the Boy, thinking of Mark Darcy. The views are 10/10 – and the Junior Ibrida’s Spiga seats, in bold black and red cloth with a built-in massage function, have comfort dialled all the way up.

Back to that marmalade-loving bear, park at Paddington station to stand on the same platform as the bear himself – you can even spot a statue of Paddington in the terminus. Drift down Pall Mall – not quite as fast as Transformers’ Bumblebee and Barricade – as you accelerate towards a true piece of film history at Covent Garden, pictured above.
The 1964 film My Fair Lady was shot in the West Piazza and St Paul’s Church portico as Eliza Doolittle sells flowers in Covent Garden Market to the tune of Wouldn’t It be Loverly. Other films shot across the cobblestones include Last Christmas, the festive flick based on Wham!’s 1984 hit, and A Street Cat Named Bob.
Steer around the corner to Somerset House, where 007 pulled up to MI6 HQ in Tomorrow Never Dies. Behind the wheel of an Alfa Romeo Junior, tight city streets and cobblestones are no drama – especially with the driver-oriented 10.25-inch touchscreen wirelessly connected to your maps and movie playlist, making the journey as stylish as it is cinematic.
Thames London film locations: Raise the stakes

After a quick lunch at Borough Market to return to our friend Bridget (her flat was above The Globe Tavern on Bedale Street), the drive along the River Thames takes you past many iconic sites featured on the silver screen.
Whether you’ve lived in London for years, or are exploring the area for the first time, there’s always something special about gliding across Tower Bridge, pictured above – a touchdown for Spider-Man in 2019’s Far From Home. The famous bridge also featured in Heath Ledger’s final film The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, and enjoyed a visit from Lin-Manuel Miranda in Mary Poppins Returns.
Soak up a bit of Sherlock Holmes at St Paul’s Cathedral, feel like you’re in 28 Days Later or Skyfall as you cruise past Big Ben and see more sites from Mission: Impossible and The Bourne Identity before you head towards your final destination. Want film facts en route? Say “Hey Alfa” and the ChatGPT voice assistant can tell you more about each movie stop as you drive.

Now it’s time to head east – to Guy Ritchie’s stomping ground, pictured above. The narrow streets are no match for the Alfa Romeo Junior Ibrida, whose efficient hybrid engine lets you switch to electric-only mode at low speeds – ideal for appreciating the view.
These streets have hosted gangsters, spies and serial killers in classics like The Krays (1990), shot around the Krays’ old neighbourhood in Bethnal Green; The Long Good Friday, featuring St George in the East church on Cannon Street Road in Wapping; and James Bond: Die Another Day, where the Cuban cigar factory is really Simpson House on Stoke Newington Road.
More recently, Daniel Kaluuya’s The Kitchen transformed the old London Electricity Board Building on Cambridge Heath Road into the dystopian Kitchen Market. When you arrive, grab your smartphone from the wireless charging pad and snap a few shots . Then drive into the sunset – when you’re in control, there’ll be no Sliding Doors moments on this cinematic road trip.
