A woman has been injured after a car flipped onto its roof on Glasgow’s Clydeside Expressway.

Emergency services were sent to the scene, near the footbridge at the Clydeside Distillery, at about 08:50.

The 36-year-old, who was driving the car, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.

Police closed the dual carriageway to traffic in both directions – it re-opened at about 11:40. Inquiries are ongoing.
