The Duchess of Edinburgh requested a custom design of a £725 dress for Trooping the Colour after rejecting the pink version.
Sophie, 60, dazzled in a green dress from Beulah London; however, it turns out the garment is a bespoke piece from the designer brand.
The “Francine” dress from Beulah London is only sold in the colour “hot pink”, and retails for a whopping £725.
Its description says: “Meet the Francine – a chic, modern dress that is sure to make a statement in a hot pink shade.
